I'm gambling money on American Idol.

This show sucks but this should be easy money, since I can look up Youtube and watch the videos and see who has the better singing voice and appearance. Which is what I noticed with the past winners.

Investing $60 before the Top 24 starts.

Andrew Garcia 5 to 1 odds / Risk $12 for $60
Katie Stevens 9 to 1 odds / Risk $10 for $90
Didi Benami 10 to 1 odds / Risk $20 for $200
Ashley Rodriquez 11 to 1 odds / Risk $18 for $198

I saw that video on Youtube on Andrew Garcia, I don't believe he will win, it's just that one song that made him look better than he really is. But if he does win, I just get my $60 back.

I would have bet more if I had not lost so much from the NFL season, lol.

I expect one of the female singers to win, then I can win a good amount.

You could look at the videos until the cows come home, but here's the thing about AI, this is as much of a popularity contest as it is a talent show.

David Cook won last season not neccessarily because he was the best and most talented, he won because his fan base (basaicly in the south) were HS girls, that texted votes for Cook, like in Biblical proportions.

So unless you have privy to such information as whose fan base is bigger, which performers fans are apt to vote in huge blocks, etc. etc. etc., you can handicap 'talent' to perfection and still be wrong when the final votes are tallied.

Like I said, just ask David Archuleta.
